Middlesbrough Sportability Club was formed in 2003 to provide sport and leisure activities for children with disabilities aged between 8 and 19 years of age.  It is open to all young people with a learning disability, as well as physical or sensory impairments.

 

The clubs aims to promote and follow the Every Child Matters Framework....Be Healthy, Stay Safe, Enjoy, Achieve and Make a positive contribution and be able to achieve Economic Well-Being.

 

Our club members have a wide range of disabilities which include Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Autism, Moderate Learning Difficulties, Severe Learning Difficulties, and Profound Multiple Learning Difficulties. Some individuals require one to one support to be able to participate in the activities.

All staff within the club are DBS cleared and highly experienced.
